2018 Season - Week 2
Record Start
For the first time in our 24 year history an owner has made the Scoring Hall of Fame in both of the first 2 weeks of the season. Marcus enters the Hall of Fame again, this time with 59 points. He holds the current Single Season record with 672 points in 2013 but in that season he had only scored 94 points after 2 weeks while this season he has amassed 115 and is on target to total a staggering 978 points this year.
Craig’s Season Prediction Game
Thanks to defending champion Craig who suggested this simple fun little game last year and added a fourth factor this season. He wants to know who you all think will A) win the Superbowl, B) lose the Superbowl, C) who will have the worst record and D) who will be the League MVP? Can I have your 4 names by Saturday 22nd September before week 3 please, so don’t delay or miss out, vote now by return email!
NFL Record Start
Congratulations to two QBs who have become unlikely superheroes through the first two weeks. Johnnie waited until all other QBs were drafted and then took Patrick Mahomes in the sixth round. Mahomes scored 4 TDs in week 1 and then 6 in week 2 giving him an NFL record 10 in just two games. Meanwhile Jameis Winston may not get his starting QB role with the Bucs back after the way his backup Ryan Fitzpatrick has played, 819 yards passing, eight TDs and zero interceptions. And did you see what he was wearing in the post-game press conference? http://www.nfl.com/videos/tampa-bay-buccaneers/0ap3000000963320/Fitzpatrick-gets-dressed-up-after-second-win-in-a-row
Improving Your Team
With 43 players yet to score this season, you may be asking yourself why you drafted a player in the first place. Remember Trading Day 1 is on 13th October before week 6, so you still have 3 more weeks of action before you can tweak your rosters.
