2018 Season - Week 12

BUMS Team of November

Weeks 9 to 12 provided us with four weeks of scores for the BUMS team of November. The best team on BUMS rosters would have cost you just $7.5m and scored 274 points. To put this in perspective Marcus scored a month’s best 157 points in the Premiership and AP a Conference best 148. November’s QB is Drew Brees (Phoenix & New Orleans) who scored 51pts at a cost of $2m while fellow Saint & Tring Tarantulas kicker Will Lutz scored 43 points at a cost of $2m. The running backs are Panthers Christian McCaffrey who is franchised by Rhodesia for $0.5m and scored 42 points and Sofa & Saint Alvin Kamara (36 points for a franchised $0.5m). However there is a worrying trait for Johnnie as in November Kamara scored 3, 2, 1 and then no touchdowns as November progressed, have defensive co-ordinators found a way to stop him? At receiver are Eric Ebron (Langley & Indi) who for $1m top scored with 5 Tds even though one of the 4 November weeks was his bye week. Joining Ebron are another couple of players franchised for $0.5m who scored 24 points each, Davante Adams (Underachieving & Green Bay) and Michael Thomas (Perivale & New Orleans). Tyreek Hill also scored 24 points for the Chiefs and Wolverines but he cost $1m. Our coach of the month is either Matt Nagy (Bears & Misunderstood) who won all four of his games for $0.5m or Perivale and Saints Sean Payton who also won all four games at a franchise price of $0.5m. Three Players on IR, Two can be replaced. Tampa Bay has placed TE OJ Howard on IR and Arizona has done the same with kicker Phil Dawson. So AP and George can replace those players and to do so for week 13 they need to get their replacements in by 11pm on Thursday. The third player is Detroit WR Marvin Jones but he is Langley’s first year franchise man and at Trading Day 2, Chief forgot his own advice and didn’t keep any budget back to pay for a Franchise replacement. Remember from now on you only have the chance to change a player if he is placed on IR by his NFL team. Keep an eye on your roster as it’s your responsibility to advise Chief if one of your players is put on IR. Each week starts with a Thursday Night game so you need to get your new man to Chief by 11pm on Thursday for him to count in that weekend’s action.
