2018 Season - Week 10 (Cont)

As first reported at the top of this email, next Thursday (November 22nd) is Thanksgiving Day and as is now traditional there are three NFL games, Chicago @ Detroit kicks off at 5pm, and we will watch this on catchup from 6pm, followed by Washington @ Dallas. The third game, Falcons @ Saints starts at 1:20am so we will watch that on Friday, details next week. Cheryl will be preparing food for around 7:30pm which should help you get to HQ from work in time. Once again please let us know if you are coming by Monday so we can get a big enough Turkey (or whatever it is Cheryl has decided to cook). Milestone Making Congratulations to Cardinal WR Larry Fitzgerald who passed Terrell Owens and now has the second most receiving yards in the history of the NFL. He has 15,952 yards but that is still 6,943 behind the incomparable Jerry Rice. Julio Jones was another receiver making Milestones when he became the fastest player to reach 10,000 receiving yards on Sunday, doing it in 104 games, 11 faster than previous record holder Calvin Johnson. And Drew Brees was back in the news as he now has 509 TD passes moving past Brett Favre and into second place on the NFL all-time list. Peyton Manning holds the passing TD record with 539. BUMS on Seats As mentioned earlier, this Thursday’s game is a good matchup with Green Bay (4-4-1) travelling to Seattle (4-5). We are planning to meet at 1:30pm on Friday for Fish ‘n’ Chips ‘n’ Football to watch it, so let me know if you are coming over. After Trading Day on Sunday, from 6pm we will see Tennessee (5-4) @ Indianapolis (4-5) followed by the Saints (8-1) hosting the Eagles (4-5). On Monday from 7pm it’s Marcus hosting as Minnesota (5-3-1) travel to Chicago (6-3). On Tuesday we will be at Johnnie’s from 7pm to watch a great Monday Night Football matchup as the Chiefs (9-1) play the Rams (9-1), in LA after the NFL announced field conditions in the Azteca Stadium, Mexico were unplayable.
