2017 Season - Week 12
APs Week 12 Changes
As mentioned last week AP had advised Chief prior to TD2 that he was away and so would trade after week 11 but before week 12. He made three changes cutting his Head Coach Chuck Pagano (Indianapolis) for Jacksonville’s Doug Marrone, signing Washington RB Samaje Perine to replace Cleveland’s Isaiah Crowell and choosing Tampa Bay’s rookie Tight End OJ Howard after cutting Washington’s TE Jordan Reed.
Conference Has Big Weekend
A high scoring weekend was topped off with three members of the “Little League” leading the scoring and Alex was the best of the lot ending up just 2 points from his first visit to the scoring Hall of Fame. It’s going to be an interesting battle for promotion and the battle to avoid relegation has got interesting too. At various times over the weekend three different owners were in the final drop spot and just 21 points covers fifth to ninth.
Favourite NFL Teams
And so with Trading Day 2 in the books we can now see who are the most and least popular NFL teams for fantasy productivity. We dropped four Redskins (though another was selected) and three Broncos and three Chargers. Meantime four Eagles and three Cowboys and three Rams were signed. Trading left us with no Bears nor Browns on BUMS rosters. Our favourite team is one that is leading the league with its 10-1 record. There are nine Philadelphia Eagles in the BUMS followed by seven Detroit Lions while Atlanta, Carolina, Kansas City, LA Rams and New England have six players each.
Cuts by draft round
Wayne and Chief cut injured franchise QBs, Carson Palmer and Aaron Rodgers respectively. Three first round picks were released, Odell Beckham Jnr by Cheryl, Jameis Winston by Daz and Mike Gillislee by Ron. Six owners made corrections for signing players in the first round of TD1 who didn’t work out, Alex (Chris Hogan), Andy H (Chris Thompson), Cheryl (Bilal Powell), Daz (Jordan Howard), Marcus (Emmanuel Sanders) and Mark (CJ Anderson). Two second rounders, three third, six fourth, four fifth and three sixth rounders were also cut along with one Trading Day one pick up from each of the second, third and fourth rounds of TD1.
