2016 Season - Week 19

All-BUMS Voting

Don’t forget to vote for your favourite players of 2016, thanks to those who have already voted. Please remember I need (in order) your top 3 Running Backs and top 3 Receivers plus your number 1 & 2 Quarterbacks, Kickers and Coaches. Vote for your players based on BUMS points (see attached), how much you enjoy them, what they meant to their BUMS or NFL team or just the fact they were on your roster. The deadline is Wednesday February 1st but please get your votes in as soon as possible. Strangely all of last year’s top vote getters had a season to forget. The 2015 MVP was Cam Newton, top RB Todd Gurley, top Rec Rob Gronkowski, kicker Graham Gano & Coach Ron Rivera! A week is a long time in the BUMS Attached is the favourite chart of the year giving a graphical view of your position in the league table each week. Only three different owners led the Premiership:- Johnnie lead after weeks 2 and 4 (before flirting with relegation from week 10 onwards), Chief who led on three separate occasions after weeks 1 and 3 and from week 8 to 12 (for a total of seven weeks) and Craig who was bottom of the table after week two with just 37 points. Craig was then the second highest scorer each of the next three weeks with 48, 39 and 36 points and took the lead of the Premiership in week 5 for three weeks. He regained the top spot in week 13 and held on to the end despite a late challenge by Marcus. At the bottom, Andy H spent five of the first seven weeks in last place before recovering to finish mid table, while Ron was facing relegation from weeks 4 to 8 and needed a tie-breaker to stay up ahead of Wayne. Wayne suffered from losing his franchise receiver Rob Gronkowski just after trading day but didn’t have any money in reserve to replace him. Both he and Cheryl fell into the drop zone in 9 and never escaped wile Dave G was bottom from week 9. The Conference was dominated by Daz and AP who swapped the top spot back and forth. After a promising start by Alex, George moved into the third promotion place in week 7 and never gave it back. David’s honouring of the Weymouth Bay Bargaineers meant he never got into the promotion places all season long. BUMS on Seats On Sunday we will be at Johnnie’s at 8pm to watch the NFC Championship game live as Green Bay travel to Atlanta and then we will be back at Johnnies on Monday from 7pm to see New England host Pittsburgh. FINAL FOUR OWNERS PLEASE SEND YOUR CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM TO ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!! Remember first in gets first choice of changes if necessary. Final deadline is 9pm Saturday so we can swap on Sunday.
