2016 Season - Week 13

One Month To Go

After last week’s extrapolation had Chief beating Mark to the trophy by just 2 points things at the top changed massively, thanks to Craig’s huge week 13 total of 49 points. If we take the last four weeks scores and extrapolate those over the final four weeks current form indicates that Leamington will win the Papas Fritas trophy, beating Chief by 39 points (576-537). Third will be Marcus and Mark tied with 519. Over the last four weeks the relegation and promotion battles have started to come into focus and the 4 week look back/forward has Andy H staying up 21 points ahead of Cheryl (401), Wayne (397) and Dave G (357). In the Conference AP will be the champion with 479 points, just two ahead of Daz (477) with George (387) taking the final promo spot 61 points ahead of David S. NFL Post Season Congratulations to the Dallas Cowboys (11-1) who become the first team to clinch a spot in the post season. New England, Oakland and Seattle can join Dallas in the second phase this weekend. Meantime even if they win their remaining four games Cleveland, San Francisco, Jacksonville and the NY Jets cannot now make the playoffs. IR replacements Before week 13 two BUMS players were placed on IR but only one was replaced, David S signing Rams WR Kenny Britt (who immediately paid Karori back by scoring a TD) in place of Steeler receiver Markus Wheaton. Meantime Wayne lost Rob Gronkowski for the season but he cannot replace him as his roster costs $10m and Gronk is his second year Franchise man. As a result if he cut Gronk he still has to pay him til the end of this season and so has no money to sign his replacement, the same as George with Jamaal Charles. Remember check nfl.com/transactions and if one of your players is put on IR you need to get his replacements name to me as soon as possible and by 11pm Thursday for the first game of the weekend. BUMS on Seats The Thursday game is a key AFC West battle as Oakland (10-2) travel to Kansas (9-3). We will not be meeting to see it however due to busy social lives. We will meet at HQ on Sunday at 6pm to see Tennessee (6-6) host Denver (8-4) followed by Seattle (8-3-1) travelling to the Green Bay (6-6). We will be at Johnnies on Monday from 7pm to see the Cowboys (11-1) at the Giants (8-4) and back at Johnnies on Tuesday from 7pm to see Baltimore (7-5) at New England (10-2). This will be the last BUMS meeting of the regular season as Chief, Cheryl, Marcus and Aaron are selfishly heading to Arizona and San Diego for the last three weekends of the season but we will be back in time for the wildcard round. There should be no issue with publishing the weekly newsletters but they may come out at odd times for the UK owners, so beware of possible spoilers when you open them.
