2016 Season - Week 12
BUMS Team of November
Weeks 9 to 12 provided us with four weeks of scores for the BUMS team of November. The best team on BUMS rosters would have scored 257 points but would have cost you $14m so we have had to cut RB David Johnson (Leamington & Arizona) and one of WR’s Antonio Brown (Tring & Pittsburgh) or Odell Beckham (Willoughby & NY Giants) as they all scored 30 points but cost $3m. The affordable team scored 245 points with one franchise man in it and cost $9.5 million. To put this in perspective Mark scored a month’s best 148 points in the Premiership while in the Conference AP scored 133. Head Coach of the month is Adam Gase (Karori & Miami) scoring 24 points for just $0.5m. Ben McAdoo (Old England & NY Giants) and Jason Garrett (Westmorland & Dallas) also had four wins but they cost $1m each. Sofa & Kansas City Kicker Cairo Santos scored 38 points for $1m while November’s QB Marcus Mariota (Rhodesia & Tennessee) scored 39pts at a cost of $1m. Rookie Ezekiel Elliott keeps getting stronger as he hunts down Eric Dickerson’s rookie rushing record and he found the end zone seven times in the last four weeks for the $2m Phoenix & Dallas are paying him. With David Johnson cut due to the salary cap Zeke’s joined in the backfield by (Gang Green & Oakland’s) Latavius Murray who scored 24 points for his $1m. At receiver, as mentioned above, we have either Antonio Brown or Odell Beckham and they are joined by Perivale & New Orleans rookie WR Michael Thomas who has 24 points for his $0.5m and Westmorland’s $0.5m franchise man, Buccaneer Mike Evans who has also scored four TDs in the past four weeks.
Hall of Fame for Mark
For the second time in four weeks Mark has hit half a hundred and has now been in the Scoring Hall of Fame 14 times. Behind two TDs from Mark Ingram and Mike Evans, a win from Jason Garrett, nine points from Brandon McManus, seven from Derek Carr and a TD from Brandon Marshall, Mark has climbed to third in the table. With five weeks left if we add the last five weeks scores to the current total Mark will finish 2 points behind Chief. Each week I’ll be projecting forward the number of weeks left to give you a form guide to the key standings.
Big BUMS Week
Lead by Mark we all had a great week, combining for 512 points the fifth highest total ever and the highest since week 1 of 2013. That averages out at 32 points per owner which is the 10th highest average in our 22 years and 12 week history.
