2015 Season - Week 15

Triplets Conference Finals

There was a shock in one of the Championship Finals but not in the AFC where Pittsburgh beat Oakland’s triplets 10-2. However in the NFC Arizona stunned Green Bay 7-5 and so Pittsburgh’s Triplets of Ben Roethlisberger, Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown will face Arizona’s Carson Palmer, Chris Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald in the final. Please let me know which triplets you prefer by 11pm next Monday (Dec 28th). AFC Playoff Race Still A Mess Incredibly only 2 teams have clinched a place in the AFC postseason - New England have won the AFC East (for the 13th time in 15 years!) and Cincinnati have secured a wildcard spot.  Denver have the next best record making Monday Night Football a critical game this week.  Houston lead Indi by one game in the South where the Jags at 5-9 are incredibly also still alive. The Chiefs, Steelers and Jets are fighting it out for division or wildcard berths but only two are likely to get in unless Denver’s two game losing streak turns into a 5-loss disaster. NFC Playoff Race Clearer Unbeaten Carolina and Arizona have won their divisions and Green Bay are in the play-offs and lead Minnesota by a game in the North. Seattle have secured a play-off spot while Minnesota need one more win or an Atlanta loss. And so we come to the dreadful NFC East (is it worse than the AFC South?) where Washington can win the division on Saturday night with a win over Philadelphia who, like the Giants are a game back from the 7-7 Redskins. BUMS on Seats Xmas gets in the way of the NFL this week where the Thursday night San Diego (4-10) @ Oakland (6-8) game kicks off at 1:30am Christmas Day in the UK, so we are definitely not watching that one. It’s the possible NFC East decider overnight on Saturday night so we’ll be at HQ on Sunday from 4pm to see Washington (7-7) @ Philadelphia (6-8) followed by the two live Sky games, Patriots (12-2) @ Jets (9-5) and Green Bay (10-4) @ Arizona (12-2). On Monday we’re back at HQ from midday to see Sunday Night’s NY Giants (6-8) @ Minnesota (9-5) and return at noon on Tuesday for a key AFC battle as Cincinnati (11-3) play in Denver (10-4). Let me know if you are coming over for catering purposes. And so finally I’d like to thank you all for reading the far out ramblings of a madman every week and participating in the greatest league in the world, and wish all of you and yours a very merry Christmas.
