2015 Season - Week 11
Triplets
NFL Definition - A quality QB, RB and Receiver. The key to any offence is balance, the ability to move the ball whether running or passing it. In the BUMS three quarters of our rosters are taken up with the key positions of QB, RB and Receiver. Earlier in the year NFL.com asked a list of experts which Colleges had the best triplets. See

So now I'm asking the biggest experts in the game (the BUMS) to help decide which 2015 NFL team has the best triplets. I'm ignoring injuries to key players as the likes of Le'Veon Bell, Jamaal Charles, Arian Foster, Kelvin Benjamin and Steve Smith were fundamental to their team’s plans for a 3-headed offensive monster. So here's how it works:- I've seeded all 32 triplets within groups and they will feature in a knockout tournament. All you have to do is see the attached 1st Round fixture list and decide which triplets you prefer for each match up and let me know your 16 winners by next Monday (Nov 30th). There are no right or wrong answers, it’s purely subjective, which set of triplets do you prefer in each match up. The team the most BUMS vote for in each match up will progress through to the next round which will be released in the next newsletter, with the Final being decided over Xmas week. I hope you will all reply with your 16 winners as the more BUMS that choose, the more worthy our NFL Triplets of 2015 will be. So which three beat the other three in each case? Have some fun with your choices right now!
Bargaineers BUMSBowl success
As previously mentioned this is John Botten's final year in the BUMS and I did say I wanted to highlight some of his successes when I announced his retirement. The Weymouth Bay Bargaineers appeared in the first three BUMSBowls, losing to Daz 35-29 in the inaugural Bowl back in 1996, then beating Daz 31-27 in BUMSBowl II before being out scored by Mark in the third final 16-13. He again made the final in 2005 when he lost to Cheryl 16-15. He never lost a Championship round game going 4-0 at the semi-final stage.
BUMS on Seats
It is Thanksgiving Day this Thursday (26th) and Cheryl will be providing her traditional feast. Please let us know if you are coming over for catering purposes. Philadelphia (4-6) @ Detroit (3-7) starts at 5:30pm but we will start watching from 6pm on catch up. The Turducken and all the trimmings should be ready to eat around 7:30pm. The Cowboys (3-7) host the unbeaten Panthers (10-0) at 9:30pm. The third game is Chicago (4-6) @ Green Bay (7-3) though starting at 1:30am we may not be staying up to see it! We’re back at HQ on Sunday from 6pm to see the Xxxxxx (0-0) travel to Xxxxxx (0-0) followed by Xxxxxx (0-0) at Xxxxxx (0-0). We’re at Johnnie’s from 7pm on Monday to view the undefeated Patriots (10-0) at the Broncos (8-2) but we have decided not to meet to see the rubbish that is the AFC North battle as Cleveland (2-8) entertain Baltimore’s backup QB (3-7) on Monday Night Football.
