2014 Season - Week 14
More Injuries
The California Dreams have suffered with many injuries this year, Wayne is still ball-less (Monte Ball that is) but he has just signed the leading receiver in the league last year, Cleveland’s Josh Gordon who replaced Justin Hunter before the weekend after the Titans placed Hunter on IR. Arizona put Andre Ellington on IR on Tuesday and Johnnie has replaced him with Denver’s CJ Anderson while Andy H has been unable to sign a replacement to injured Bear Brandon Marshall as he is his Franchise man and he has spent all $10m. Remember you can still sign any player you cut for injury reasons as your Franchise Man for next year and it’s your responsibility to look out for the health of your players and email Chief by Thursday at 11pm if one is put on IR.
Wolverines in Scoring Hall of Fame
Mark entered the Marbled halls for the eleventh time, tying Wayne for equal second most visits, four behind Chief. It’s Mark’s first trip since week 17 of 2011. Mark equalled the fifth highest weekly score ever with 66 points courtesy of double touchdowns from Joique Bell, Jordy Nelson and Mike Evans. As a result he has jumped from seventh to fourth. Powered by Mark’s score the BUMS combined for an impressive 511 points, the fifth highest weekly score ever and an average of 31.94 points per owner (10th highest average).
Three Weeks To Go
Johnnie has been top since week 7, can he hang on and win a record setting fourth Papas Fritas? He leads Craig by 48 and Aaron by 58 points. Extrapolating the last three weeks scoring into the next three he will win the Papas Fritas by 30 points from Craig with Mark finishing third, one further point behind. Five BUMS are fighting for survival and while Chief seems safe Wayne and Dave G look to be doomed to the drop with 345 and 375 points respectively. Cheryl will be the third one relegated as Daz will finish one point ahead of her on 393. Andy H (currently 37 points clear) looks likely to win the Conference finishing with 442 points. The other 4 BUMS are presently covered by just 17 points and current form suggests George and John will be promoted tied on 399 points, just ahead of AP on 397 with David S finishing on 373. Meantime in the NFL with just three weeks left amazingly no-one has secured a post season slot yet but the Patriots, Colts, Broncos, Packers and Cardinals all can this week.
