2013 Season - Week 15

Hall of Fame Again & Again

A huge congratulations to Marcus who enters the Scoring Hall of Fame for a third consecutive week, the first time this has ever happened in 321 weeks of BUMS history. Marcus has averaged 51.5 points per week over the last fortnight and with two weeks to go he has a chance to beat H’s all-time season scoring record of 670 but it will be close. This week he set a new Conference scoring record, passing the mark of 548 set by Ron back in 2006. Chief also entered the marbled halls extending his record number of visits to 15 as he looks to secure his third Papas Fritas title after his closest challenger, Aaron, had a below average week. Squeeky BUMS Time at the Bottom Wayne picked a good time to have a big week, he is now 22 points ahead of the dropzone. He’s not safe yet but has a little breathing room, while Mark has moved eight points ahead of Andy H after the Perivale Pirates had the worst total of the week scoring just 12. A Fortnight Left Incredibly only 4 teams have clinched a place in the NFL postseason (Denver, KC & Indi in the AFC and just Seattle in the NFC). Much will be decided this weekend but for many it will go down to the wire. In the BUMS Chief is predicted to win the Premiership with Cheryl passing Aaron for second. Attached is a predicted final table based on current standings plus the last two weeks scores – Andy H is facing relegation along with AP and George while Marcus and Craig cruise back into the Premiership and John fights off Dave G for the final promotion slot. Injuries Before week 15 Gareth replaced his franchise man Rob Gronkowski with San Diego rookie Keenan Allen who went on to celebrate his selection into the BUMS by scoring two TDs. Also Dave G cut Viking Kyle Rudolph and signed another Tight End, Washington’s rookie Jordan Reed.. You can still sign any player you cut for injury reasons as your Franchise Man for next year. Remember to look out for the health of your players and email Chief if one is put on IR. New players to me by 3pm Sunday please as the week starts with the early Sunday games. BUMS on Seats We’ll be at HQ on Sunday from 6pm to see the two live Sky games, the NFC South decider Saints (10-4) @ Panthers (10-4) followed by a key AFC match-up as the 10-4 Patriots travel to Baltimore (8-6). On Monday evening we’re at H’s to see the Sunday Night game as his beloved Bears (8-6) travel to Philadelphia (8-6) but then Xmas gets in the way of the NFL season again so if you want to see the Monday Night Falcons (4-10) @ 49ers (10-4) showdown on Eurosport you’ll have to watch it yourself! We’ll be back at HQ on Sunday 29th for two week 17 games as all positions in the BUMS and NFL are finalized.
