2013 Season - Week 14
Table Topping Injuries
Chief saw both his franchise players go down to big injuries on Sunday. Rob Gronkowski tore his ACL and MCL and is done til the middle of the 2014 season and Adrian Peterson suffered a serious ankle injury, it’s not broken but he could miss time and we are only three weeks from seasons end. Chief will pay Gronk for the rest of the year but will replace him by Thursday evening. Meanwhile Minnesota have put Kyle Rudolph on IRI so Dave G has until 11pm on Thursday to get his replacement into his team for this weekend. You have $3m available to spend Dave. Remember you can still sign any player you cut for injury reasons as your Franchise Man for next year and it’s your responsibility to look out for the health of your players and email Chief by Thursday at 11pm if one is put on IR.
Three Weeks To Go
Can Chief hang on with his beaten up team, he leads Aaron by 9 points but Ron (33 points from the top), Johnnie and Cheryl (38 each) are also still involved. Extrapolating the last three weeks scoring into the next three Chief will win the Papas Fritas by 36 points from Aaron and Cheryl who will tie for second on 519 points – but the last three weeks doesn’t include Chief suffering those two big injuries. Three guys are fighting for survival as AP and George seem doomed but Wayne, Andy H and Mark are covered by just 7 points with Mark currently in the dropzone. But looking at the last three weeks they should finish Wayne 418 points, Mark 416 and Andy H relegated on 414. So who will replace them, Marcus is a lock for the Conference as he enters the Hall of Fame in back-to-back weeks and he rides Peyton Manning’s monster season. It’s his fourth visit this year and sixth overall. Extrapolating the last three weeks he will end up with the 2nd highest score ever (667 – 3 short of H’s record). Craig will finish second but Dave G has just passed John by one point for the final promotion spot. Looking 3 weeks ahead Dave G is on course to be promoted by 24 points. Meantime after his second biggest week of the year David S is now predicted to finish on 262 points outscoring AP’s alltime low of 241. Meantime in the NFL the Colts and the Broncos secured post season slots joining Seattle who made it last week.
