2012 Season - Week 8

West Coast Cruisin’

Hello from Oregon where Cheryl, Johnnie and Chief are currently travelling with Sofa Wreckers Cheerleader Jess and her Cousin Pete. Showing their dedication to the BUMS while Cheryl, Jess and Kuz Pete spent Sunday in Napa Valley drinking wine, Johnnie and Chief spent 10 hours in a San Franciso Sports Bar watching Miami beat the Jets and the Raiders beat Kansas City. After the NFL games they were joined by the other three travellers and about 300 San Franciscans to see the San Francisco Giants win the World Series. Teams of October Daz’s Underachieving Bastards were the most successful team in October as they overachieved to the tune of 148 points. The second highest scoring BUMS team was the Karori Killer Kiwis with 122 points and third was Gang Green with 120. However there is a BUMS team that would score 243 for $7m thanks to a number of Franchise players showing that some BUMS know who to sign to long term deals. The team stars Indianapolis & Leamington head coach Chuck Pagano (18 points $0.5m), Giants & Gang Green kicker Lawrence Tynes (51 and $0.5m), Green Bay & Underachieving QB Aaron Rodgers (42 and $3m), running backs Arian Foster of Houston & Sofa (30 and $3m - $0.5m Franchise Salary) and Shonn Greene (Jets & Rhodesia - 24 and $1m). The receivers are Victor Cruz (Giants & Perivale - 30 and $2m - $0.5m Franchise Salary) and James Jones (Green Bay & Underachieving - 24 and $0.5m) and pick one of three franchise players who scored four TDs :- Eric Decker (Denver & Rhodesia $1m - $0.5m Franchise Salary) or Jordy Nelson (Green Bay & Weymouth $2m - $0.5m Franchise Salary) or Rob Gronkowski (Patriots & Langley $3m - $0.5m Franchise Salary). Our All-BUMS team also heavily outscored the best Non-BUMS team out there. For just $7m the following scored 195 points in October:- HC Tom Coughlin (NY Giants) 24pts $1m, Kicker Sebastian Janikowski (Oakland-36-$2m), QB Josh Freeman (Tampa Bay-27-$1m), RBs Doug Martin (Tampa Bay-18-$1m) and Jamie Harper (Tennessee -18-$0.5m) and Receivers Josh Morgan (Cleveland-24-$0.5m), Randall Cobb (Green Bay-24-$0.5m) and Santana Moss (Washington-24-$0.5m). BUMS on Seats The next official BUMS gathering will be next Tuesday at H’s from 6:30pm to watch the week 9 Monday Night game as Philadelphia travel to New Orleans.
