2012 Season - Week 14

Injuries

It was a big week for BUMS players being put on Injured Reserve. Here’s the list, if you want to replace your man for this weekend’s games let me know his replacement by 11pm Thursday. AP – Robbie Gould, David S. – Fred Jackson, John – Mohammad Sanu, Wayne – Percy Harvin & Titus Young. You can still sign any player you cut for injury reasons as your Franchise Man for next year. Remember to look out for the health of your players and email Chief if one is put on IR. Hall of Fame Chief enters the Hall of Fame again setting a new record for number of visits, he has now been in the Scoring Hall 12 times, one more than Wayne. Despite being Gronk-less he is now two points off the top of the Premiership as he looks to defend his title. Three Weeks To Go Despite losing 42-12 on Monday Night, Houston backed into a play-off berth after Baltimore, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh all lost. At the other end Tennessee are eliminated from the AFC playoff hunt while in the NFC Arizona, Carolina, Detroit and Philadelphia are all out. Things are much more exciting in the BUMS with all three battle grounds seeing the key positions swapping between owners during the weekend. In the hunt for the Papas Fritas, Daz remains at the top but now only by one point from Johnnie while Chief’s Hall of Fame week has the defending Champion just one behind Johnnie. At the other end the fight between four owners to get the two safe spots is even closer. Mark’s 35 point week see’s him climb 7 points above the dropzone, while Cheryl and Craig are tied across the relegation line with Marcus behind them by just one point. In the Conference David Stamp picked a bad time for a single digit week, combined with Aaron’s 42 points Stampy is now 16 points behind Aaron who enters the promotion zone. Meantime Andy H leads George by five with Aaron two further points behind. Also attached is a predicted final table based on current standings plus the last three weeks scores – after predicting Johnnie would win the Papas Fritas last week Chief is now predicted to defend his title. Cheryl and Marcus are now facing relegation along with Dave G while H, George and Aaron cruise back into the Premiership. BUMS on Seats We’ll be at HQ on Sunday from 6pm for two more live Sky games (Green Bay @ Chicago and Steelers @ Cowboys).
