2012 Season - Week 10

So we are now just days away from Trading Day 2 which is this Sunday at HQ starting at 4pm. If you want to trade but can’t get to HQ you can do so by email or phone, just let me know how you are planning to cut your deadwood. If I don’t hear from you I’ll assume you are happy with your team. Attached are the initial player salaries plus the sheet of new players who are also now available. As always we cut in worst to first order (all cuts by an owner in one go) then draft one player at a time in worst to first owner order until all rosters are full. The full order is Dave G, Craig, John, Cheryl, Andy H, Marcus, Mark, Aaron, George, Wayne, Ron, AP, David S, Chief, Johnnie and Daz. As well as the number of injured players noted last week there are still seven players who have yet to open their 2012 BUMS account. Will John trim his Kerley Brown Bush? Beware who you trade for, the grass isn’t always greener as all of these players were signed in Trading Day 1 and haven’t scored:- Jeremy Kerley & Michael Bush (Weymouth), Ken Whisenhunt (Willoughby), Julian Edelman (Perivale), Jackie Battle (Westmorland) and Brandon Bolden & Martellus Bennett (both Phoenix). Also remember if you cut a franchise player you have to pay him his salary until the end of the contract. Having cut Knowshon Moreno at TD1 Aaron is now playing with a budget of just $8m for the rest of this season. Note, if you cut or sign players from this Thursday night’s game (Miami @ Buffalo) then your trade will not be actioned until week 12. BUMS on Seats After Trading Day from 6pm we will see Sky’s doubleheader of Green Bay @ Detroit followed by Indianapolis @ New England. We will be at Johnnies from 6:30pm on Monday to watch the Sunday Night AFC North battle as Pittsburgh travel to Baltimore. Then back at H’s for our regular Tuesday Night helping of the BBC’s coverage of his beloved Chicago @ San Francisco on MNF. Call if you are planning to come so hosts can cater for you.
