2002 Season - Week 4
Shaun’s BIG Night Out
Listening to Sunday Nights ESPN game was jaw dropping. With 3.13 minutes left in the first half Gary Anderson kicked a field goal to make the score 17-10 to the Seahawks. On the next play from scrimmage Dilfer hit Shaun Alexander on a screen pass who took it 80 yards for a TD. Seattle then scored another THREE TD’s in a 51 second spell to go in at half-time 45-10 up. On their first possession of the second half Minnesota scored a TD after blocking the Seattle punt. On the next three drives Daunte Culpepper had FIVE passes dropped in the end-zone two by Derrick Alexander and three by Randy Moss. In the end Seattle won 48-23 with Shaun rushing for 139 yards catching 3 passes for 92 more and ending the day with 5 Touchdowns, all scored in the first half.
Phil’s BIG Weekend
Undoubtedly it helps when your Franchise man scores 30 points but Phil is on the edge of a Hall of Fame week as he has 45 points with his kicker Jason Elam still to play.
Trading Day 1
So it’s Trading Day 1 this Saturday at BUMS HQ from 7pm. If you are coming let me know and if you want to change players but can’t make it let me know so we can sort out how to make your changes. If I don’t hear from you I’ll assume you are happy to carry the same players through to Trading Day 2 in November. Attached is the original player price list together with the additional player list (all of whom have scored in the first four weeks). A final update will be sent out Thursday morning after we’ve watched the Broncos-Ravens game with any additional Denver-Baltimore players who score and the final trading order.
BUMS on Seats
On Wednesday we’ll be back at H’s in Perivale to see the MNF Broncos-Ravens clash from around 7:00pm. Saturday is Trading Day, then Sunday is the first Sky Doubleheader…
Sky Doubleheaders
As Sky will show 3 consecutive doubleheaders in October hopefully you’ll be able to see an early game with us even if you find travelling home at 1am on a Monday after the second game a little restricting. The first two will be at BUMS HQ (so the young BUMS can see the first games) with the third one at Johnny’s. This Sunday it’s New Orleans @ Pittsburgh followed by Philadelphia @ Jacksonville.
