2002 Season - Week 11 (cont)

Top Scoring Weekend?

We stand on the verge of another record setting weekend. The combined BUMS totalled 518 points in week 1 this year which was a record setting average of 32.4 points per owner. So far this week we have scored 415 points with 23 BUMS to play on Sunday or Monday night including all 4 kickers. Three owners stand on the verge of the Hall of Fame. This is very impressive as week 9 last year was the only time when two owners have made the Hall of Fame in the same week (Paul with 55 and Johnny with 54points). Phil needs just 1 point from Ricky Proehl on MNF to make his second visit (his first was week 4 this year) and David Stamp is looking for his first ever visit needing just 2 points from his kicker Adam Vinatieri. Stampy stands at the top of the Premiership and was the third man to top the table last night after Johnny had dispossessed Wayne of pole position. However Chief could reclaim top spot as he has two players on MNF. It’s becoming a real dog fight at the top of the Premiership. Meantime in the Conference the scrap for Promotion is equally as frenzied and if Antowain Smith scores 2 TD’s on Sunday night Rookie Ron will enter the Hall of Fame just 6 weeks after being in the Hall of Shame. His recent resurgence has seen him not only catch the others but move into the third promotion spot. Thanksgiving Day Doubleheader Whether you enjoyed or missed Cheryl’s fine food on Trading Day 2 don’t forget she will be cooking up a Feast for all who can take Friday 29th November off work and enjoy Thanksgiving at the Coopers. During the day we will be watching both the Thanksgiving Day games. Again let me know if you can make it so we get the right sized Turkey. BUMS on Seats Tonight from 8pm the Sunday night game (New England at Oakland) is at BUMS HQ, then we are at H’s on Wednesday from 6:30pm to see his Bears travel to St Louis in the Monday Night clash.
