2002 Season - Week 10
Trading Day 2
So salvation is here for those who are in need of help as at 4pm on Sunday we will be Trading players again followed by a Sky doubleheader of Buffalo @ Kansas City and Baltimore @ Miami. If you don’t understand the importance of such an event ask Daz. Top of the table after week one and third at Trading Day 1 Daz declined to change any players and now sits in the relegation zone. However if you are going to make changes, make the right one’s. Chief dropped two players who have since scored 3 TD’s apiece whilst his new players have scored just a combined 14 points leaving him minus 22 points for the deal! He is now 14 points behind leader Wayne. Andy H made the best of Trading Day 1 swapping 4 players for a gain of 29 points. Ron was second best with a plus 17 ratio ( and talking of the Rookie it was good to see him win week 9 after his early troubles- he’s climbing back into the promotion fight).Attached are two spreadsheets to help you plan your trades the original list of players drafted plus an updated version of new additions available. The final Trading order will be confirmed with any other late additions on Thursday. I’ve heard from most of you but from those yet to let me know please can you drop me a line so we can work out how best to handle your Trading.
Hall Of Fame Again
Congratulations to Johnny who entered the Hall of Fame for a 5th time after his head coach Bill Belichick picked up a most unlikely of wins last night. How did the Bears manage to lose that game? Johnny equals The Chiefs number of visits to the Hall, both are 1 behind the most decorated of BUMS, Mark. Johnny needs 10 points of his kicker (Janikowski) on Monday Night to set a new record for points in a week. He shares the current total of 60 with Mark.
Thanksgiving Day Doubleheader
Don’t forget on Friday 29th November during the day we will be watching both the Thanksgiving Day games and Cheryl will be cooking up a Feast for all who can take the day off work and enjoy Thanksgiving at the Coopers. Again let me know if you can make it so we get the right sized Turkey.
BUMS on Seats
Tonight’s Sunday night game (Miami @ The Jets) is at Marks from 7:30pm, then we are at H’s on Wednesday from 6:30pm for the Raiders/Broncos AFC West Monday Night clash.
