2001 Season - Week 7
Score Bore
Oh dear, what happened last week. After a dismal Monday Night Giants & Eagles match-up the 16 BUMS owners totalled a week 6 score of just 273 points an average of 17.06. The second lowest average score ever. We should all be ashamed, be very ashamed. At least we beat the 252 from week 3 of last year, but with 14 owners that averaged out at 18.00. The lowest average ever was 14.92 in week 3 of 1998 after the 13 owners totalled just 194. That is also the lowest weekly total since we expanded from 6 to 11 owners way back before the 1996 season. This week is somewhat better (359 so far) with H’s 47 points lifting him to 2nd place, Dave G has moved from 11th to 5th after his 43 points eased his relegation fears whilst John has closed the gap on those above after a 40 point showing.
