2001 Season - Week 6

Seminole Sunday

Whilst watching the Sky Doubleheader last week did you spot how involved FSU players were in the games. Tennessee finally got their first win of the season but not until Tampa took them into overtime courtesy of 2 TD’s by Warrick Dunn (Florida State) and the first 3 TD passes of the season by Brad Johnson (Florida State). In the 2nd game Miami stepped out to a 17-0 lead when Rookie RB Travis Minor (Florida State) scampered 29 yards only to see two TD’s by Laveraneus Coles (Florida State) give NY a 21-17 lead. Still Miami had a chance to win until they were intercepted in the end zone by Marvin Jones from…yes FSU.
