2000 Preseason Guide

Welcome to everything you need to help you plan the perfect Fantasy League team. The Draft is just 3 weeks away so it’s time to start planning. The three key dates this year are:- Saturday August 19th at 7pm. The draft will take place at BUMS HQ Saturday October 7th at 7pm. Trading Day 1- before the week 6 games at BUMS HQ. Saturday November 11th at 7pm. Trading Day 2 -before week 11 also at BUMS HQ. Make a diary note for all three and if you cannot make the draft in August let me know asap and we will see about making alternative arrangements. So far I understand Daz and John Botten will be unable to join us on August 19th. The Teams So Far Everyone has 6 players left to sign, except for Paul who only has seven as he only has one Franchise Player. To compensate Paul gets a supplemental pick after Round 3. There is no news on the injury Robert Edwards sustained early last year, and that’s not good news, while Mark Chmura is unsigned by anybody after his last team Green Bay cut him earlier this year. If neither play they will have to wait until the first Trading Day before they can cut them and sign other players (although their Salaries will count for the rest of the season).
